royal palm
A graceful, monoecious feather palm. Trunk white, smooth, marble-like (hence the Arabic name nakhl el-rukham, ""marble palm""). It has green leaves. Flowers are incredibly fragrant, produced periodically throughout the year but mostly in summer. One leaf will fall about every month. Royal Palms grow quite rapidly when given an abundance of water and fertilizer in full sun or dappled shade.
