Winged Myrobalan


Scientific Name: Terminalia Arjuna
It’s a large tree that can attain up to 25 meters high. It has a dence irregular canopy, coarse in texture and rounded (vase) in shape. A type of moth, Antheraea paphia, feeds on its leaves and produce the tussar silk which has a high commercial value.
